From Krabi
Travel to Thalane Pier, then cross directly to Tha Khao Pier on Koh Yao Noi. The boat journey takes approximately 20 minutes.
From Phuket Airport
The road transfer from Phuket International Airport to Bang Rong Pier takes approximately 35 minutes. Allow extra time before the last boat, especially when travelling with luggage.
Schedules vary by season, weather and operator. Confirm your boat and onward transfer shortly before travelling.

November — April
Drier days, calmer seas and the island's busiest season. Reserve accommodation and transfers ahead.
May — October
The green season: lush landscapes, warm rain and a quieter island. Boat schedules can change with sea conditions.

Koh Yao Noi remains a living island rather than a seasonal resort. Come with time, flexibility and respect for local rhythms.

Cash & connection
Bring some Thai baht for small shops, local transport and markets. Mobile coverage is generally good, but island time does not depend on it.
Getting around
Local taxis, bicycles and scooters connect villages, beaches and rice fields. Travel slowly; roads are shared with children, animals and working islanders.
Pack lightly
Light clothing, rain protection, sun care and footwear that can get wet will cover most days. Keep valuables protected during boat transfers.
Visit gently
Dress respectfully in villages and mosques, reduce plastic, conserve water and ask before photographing people. This is home before it is destination.
